To ensure that your mouthguard has a long life and provides years of effective protection, it is important to take proper care of it. Here are some tips on how to care for your mouthguard:
Rinse your mouthguard with cold water before and after each use
Clean your mouthguard with mild soap and tepid water after each wear, dry thoroughly
Store your mouthguard in a clean, dry place
Do not expose your mouthguard to extreme heat, hot water or direct sunlight, as this can warp or damage the material and change the fit of your mouthguard.
Do not chew on your mouthguard, as this can cause it to lose its shape
Replace your mouthguard if it becomes damaged or does not fit your mouth properly any more
