Dr Sophia Petta

Principal Dentist

Dr Sophia Petta, founder and Principal Dentist at Enlighten Dental, graduated from the University of Western Australia, with a Bachelor of Biomedicine in Medical Genetics and Molecular Medicine. Dr Petta earned her doctorate from Sydney University’s Faculty of Dentistry, where she was awarded the Radiology prize in Dental Diagnostics and Pathology.

Dr Petta has been practicing in Sydney since 2009 with a focus in the areas of aesthetic smile design, restorative dentistry and holistic family dentistry. Dr Petta is a board-certified General Dentist caring for all of your dental needs in the gentlest manner. Sophia is enthusiastic about dental health, having been involved in the field since 2004, learning from and working alongside Australia’s top dentists.

Sophia has an amazing way of working with children and endeavours to make every visit fun and enjoyable.

At Enlighten Dental practice, we take pride in our commitment to fostering optimal dental health for all our patients. As a Practice Manager, I am here to assist patients in navigating their dental care journey seamlessly.

Our focus extends beyond individual treatments; we prioritise family oral health, ensuring a comprehensive and personalized approach to your well-being. From coordinating appointments to overseeing treatments, our goal is to make your experience with us as smooth and tailored as possible.

Patricia Rosero

IT Manager and Patient Support

Patricia Rosero originates from Ecuador and migrated to Australia in 2018. Patricia holds a Master’s in Business Information Systems.

Patricia joined the Enlighten Dental team in 2020 to build her experience in the health care industry in Australia. Patricia manages all of the IT needs of the practice and in terms of customer satisfaction, makes sure that patients feel comfortable and safe in our Enlighten Dental practice. Additionally, she supports quality dental care delivery in different treatments such as root canal therapy, filling, extractions, check-up and cleaning.
